Policies

Getting your flowers to us:  We can pick up your bouquet at your venue, the day after the event. Please inquire about fee. Alternatively, you can drop them off at our studio in Ipswich, MA or have them sent to us via Uber or courier service. You can also package them and ship them overnight mail if you live out of the area. Please email us for shipping instructions. *If possible, please keep flowers in water while they are waiting to be transported. It is best for us to receive the flowers within 2-3 days of the event.

Revisions: Two rounds of revisions are offered free of charge. After that, there is a flat rate of $75 for revisions. The customer will be notified of a new completion date at the request of any further revisions.

Time Frame: Fresh Pressed Florals intends to complete this artwork within 10 weeks of flowers being received. *ALL attempts will be made to complete the artwork on or before the above time period, but in the case of unforeseen circumstances, the customer will be notified of any delays within 72 hours of the due date or as soon as a delay is caused. This disclaimer only exists for extreme circumstances, artwork is nearly always delivered on time.

Guarantee of pressed flowers-Ranunculus, Poppies, Delphiniums, Daisies, Corn Flowers, Queen Ann’s lace, Spray roses, Roses, Gypsophila, Astrantia, Hydrangeas, Cosmos and Hellebores are some examples of others that do quite well in preservation. 

*Tropical Flowers DO NOT press well due to their water content. These include Lily's which turn yellow/brownish, orchid's become translucent and very thin, large leafs will turn brown.

**White flowers including roses do turn slightly yellow and can be color corrected upon request.

The more varied your bouquet is, the more versatile the art piece!

Shipping Instructions: If you are not in the Boston area and can’t drop off or have us pick up and need to ship to us please follow these instructions.- Make a fresh cut of the stems, and wrap stems in wet paper towels, put in gallon ziplock bag and secure with rubber band. Put in a shipping box and surround with newspaper, paper towels or loose bubble wrap to minimize movement. DO NOT use ice in bag, as an ice pack. Manufactured Ice packs are good and highly suggested if the climate is warm during shipping time. If it is summer, the use of an insulated box or styrofoam cooler in the box, along with ice packs are suggested. We will take a picture of the flowers when they arrive to show the condition. The condition of the flowers, determines the outcome of the final product. Ship overnight or 2 day is optimal.

Frame Damage: We use either USPS for shipping for a 30.00 flat fee. In the very unlikely event that the frame/glass arrives damaged or broken, please send a picture within 24 hours of receiving the frame. We will replace the frame, but cannot guarantee the flowers will not be damaged in transit. *You do have the option of picking up your art work at our studio. This ensures no accidental damage. Additionally, we can hand deliver by courier in the greater Boston/Southern NH area for a fee.

Payments and Returns:  We do not accept returns on custom art work. Deposit of 250.00 is non refundable. This deposit covers the labor of pressing the flowers. Balance is due prior to framing.

Care of framed florals: The flowers colors will naturally and slowly fade over time. Please keep your frame out of direct sunlight and UV light. Properly cared for, your framed bouquet should last for decades!
